LEVEL 2 COACH COURSE
The A.C.F. Level 2 Coaches Course has been introduced to allow further professional development for qualified calisthenic Coaches. Once enrolled in the course there is no time limit for completion, allowing Coaches to undertake modules as their individual circumstances permit. As well as the modules presented locally, there is also a national calendar of modules to enable Coaches to attend modules in other states thereby allowing interaction, learning and networking with the wider calisthenic community. Modules are also usually presented at the time of the National Championships for Coaches travelling to this event and at the National Coaches Conference held every 4 years.
The course consists of the following modules (each module costs $35 to attend):
- Stagecraft
- Clubs
- Rods
- Dance
- Communication
- Singing
- Sports Injuries and Prevention
Applicants must also complete the General Principles Coaching Course Level 2 which is now available through the CAL.S.A.C. Office ($35 as above).
You have 6 months to complete the workbook for this module.
To complete this module applicants will need an Intermediate Coaching General Principles Manual (borrow this if you know someone who has one or they can be purchased from the ASC for $17.50 plus postage).
The final module is a Video Self-Analysis.
Requirements: All applicants may progress to Level 2 once they have become a qualified Level 1 Coach.
Cost: There is no cost to enrol in the Level 2 Course but there will be a Registration Fee when all modules have been completed and Coaches apply to their individual state for resigration as a Level 2 Coach.
