A Class Assistant Course is conducted at the beginning of each year for anyone working in a class situation as an assistant to a coach.
This informative course aims to increase the awareness of the role and responsibilities of a Class Assistant.
The 2 ½ hour course consists of
a lecture on the role of a Class Assistant
viewing of a Warm Up and Strengthening video
a practical workshop of terminology and correction techniques
At the completion of the course all participants receive a Class Assistant Badge allowing access to the dressing room at the Royalty Theatre with their coach.
Requirements:
All applicants must:
be 11-13 years in the year of the course
have attained Calisthenic Skills Grade 1 or higher
be an Associate member of CAL.S.A.C.
For Class Assistant accreditation to remain valid Associate Membership of CAL.S.A.C. must be renewed each year.
